Miss Lora
Welcome to Remix! I have been in early childhood teaching in a classroom for over 10 years. I grew up in around young kids as my mom was an in home daycare provider. I love being active, creative, and caring for all ages but especially 2-5 year olds. I have been dancing since I was in Kindergarten and have technique in ballet, jazz, some tap and some hip hop. I minored in dance at UNI where I am also able to teach contemporary/ lyrical and folk dances/ ballroom styles. I have been a teacher at Xtreme dance since 2016 and stayed with Remix dance. I teach all the predance classes starting with mommy and me classes with families and their child starting at 18 months. I teach some foundations to the techinical areas, acro and creative movement. At 3 years old I teach creative movement and hip-hop/jazz. At 4 years old, I teach creative movement and ballet/ tap. I have a loving and supportive family at home that helps me balance my teaching worlds throughout the school year! One thing I believe is that no one should ever miss a chance to dance and dance is for everybody at any age!
BRIanna Tucker
Hi I’m Miss Bri! I grew up dancing and competing and dance quickly became a passion I wanted to turn into a career. I have been teaching a variety of dance styles for the last ten years. I teach jazz, hiphop, lyrical/Contemporary, Pom and Acro classes at remix, as well as our performance team (Pom Squad) and choreograph for our competition team. I’m certified through Acro Dance Teachers Association. I believe our students will walk out of our classes learning more than just dance moves. I aim to teach students self confidence and to learn how to set and achieve goals. Dance classes are a great way to make new friends and learn team work! I love teaching at Remix and I’d love you to join our dance family!

Donovan Gavagan
Hello I’m Mr. Donovan. I started my dance career over 10 years ago. I have experience dancing in most styles, mostly Tap/Clogging, Character/Musical Theater, and Jazz. This is my 2nd year as a Remix Dance teacher and competition choreographer. I will be teaching all of our musical theater classes and some of our beginner jazz classes. I have been the stage manager of two dance recitals “Charlie and the Candy Company” and “What the Heck is this?”. In Middle and High School I was Assistant Stage Director and Stage director of two shows, then the choreographer for my senior year production of “Midsummer nights dream”. I can’t wait to expand the knowledge of Musical Theater for the students in the studio and prepare them for futures in show business.

Want to Donate?
If you would like to donate to any of our current projects OR would like to sponsor a Dancer please reach out to us at Remixdancestudio@yahoo.com OR click the Facebook icon at the top of the page and message us through there.
teacher trainings
Remix has the best teachers, and they often pay for their own training and certifications. We would love to send them to a Dance Conference where they can learn new moves and techniques to teach our dancers. To send all our teachers we would need $5000. That would include the conference. Flight and Hotel.
Sponsoring a dancer
In our mission to make sure all dancers can dance we can’t do that without donors. To sponsor a Dancer, we offer 1 dancer/ 1 class for the whole dance season it would be $700. 1 dancer/2 classes would be $1000. That donation would cover tuition, shoes, Parade shirts and Costume.
